Domburg – The time has almost come: the start of the redevelopment of Hotel Zonneduin into ONE Villa Hotel Domburg in the Nehalennia area. With the arrival of this new luxury hotel, the unique dune landscape and the popular Domburg seaside resort will receive an enormous boost.

With the launch of the new website onevillahoteldomburg.nl , investors and coastal enthusiasts can follow the developments surrounding the arrival of 20 very luxurious hotel suites by the sea. “At the end of last year, the municipality of Veere took an important next step in improving the quality of the Nehalennia dune area in Domburg,” says project developer Ko van Garderen. “In addition to the high-quality adjustment of the dune landscape and the public space, it was also decided to replace the existing hotels. VG-D Vastgoedontwikkeling will redevelop Hotel Zonneduin into ONE Villa Hotel Domburg.”

Quality improvement Domburg
VG-D Vastgoedontwikkeling had a special building designed by Alwin Reedijk of WTS Architecten for the location of Hotel Zonneduin. “This building makes a spatial and landscape contribution to the quality improvement that was already included in the Coastal Vision in 2017 and further shapes Domburg's seaside resort status,” says Van Garderen. “The new hotel is in complete harmony with the unique dune landscape and with the adjacent Badpaviljoen and the Watertoren. For example, ONE Villa Hotel Domburg will soon provide a beautiful frame for the new beach entrance towards the renovated OAXACA. We can't wait to show you the end result. Investors are lining up
Only a few investors in recreational real estate or people who just want something unique will soon be eligible for the purchase of a suite. “Investors can invest in a hotel suite with a stable value”, explains Van Garderen. “In addition to the unique property by the sea, it is an investment with an annual direct return. In addition, the owners are also allowed to use their own hotel suite out of season. We only have 20, so a select few can benefit as investors. So far, more than enough interested parties have already signed up. This reinforces our conviction that we are going to do something unique here.”
